Tim was awarded Limited budget funding of $20,000 to fund an exercise physiologist for the Fontan Fit trial. This trial is part of the ANZ Fontan registry and is a multi-centre prospective randomised controlled trial in adolescents and adults with a Fontan circulation.

The trial will determine whether a supervised exercise program increases the cardiorespiratory fitness of patients with a Fontan Circulation, and whether benefits can be maintained at 12 months with less intense supervision.
